Select your curriculum and be prepared; Join HSLDA prior to sending in your notification form!  See our Getting Started Page for details on how to join! Obtain a notification form from your local support group or CHEO and fill it out completely; Send notification to the superintendent by certified mail with a return receipt two days before keeping your child home from school, or hand-deliver to the superintendent's office before or the morning of the first day you keep your child home; Keep your child home and begin teaching after notification.
