CHEO GRADUATION DRESS CODE GUIDELINES

 

Clothing Guidelines:

In keeping with Christian Home Educators of Ohio’s standards, we reserve the right to request that all graduates follow these guidelines:  

Graduate Dress Code:  

Gentlemen:

¨    Dress slacks and ties with white or light colored shirts
¨    No earrings
¨   
No visible tattoos
¨   
No facial hair
¨   
Hair: conservative & traditional hairstyles - natural color
¨   
No jewelry

Ladies:

¨   Modest dresses -no sleeveless, minimum knee length (no slits) with a  modest neckline
¨   
No visible tattoos
¨    Hair: conservative & traditional hairstyles - natural color
¨    Small conservative jewelry kept to a minimum

No controversial items

Parent Dress Code:

You, the parents will be participating in the ceremony and will be on stage in front of hundreds of family, friends and guests. You and your children represent CHEO! We hold to the highest standard for an example to both our children and our guests. You should adhere to the same dress code as the graduate; however, the fathers may have facial hair

Code of Conduct:

You are ambassadors for Home Education and representatives for all of us at CHEO.  This is a serious and meaningful ceremony. Foolish behavior will not be tolerated.

Ohio Home Education Commencement Exercises

Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 5:00 PM at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall, Columbus

2:00 PM  Sign in at the Registration Booth for ALL graduates

3:00 PM Rehearsal - Parents and Graduates ONLY 

TENTATIVE PROGRAM:

Processional: (audience standing)
Opening Prayer: (senior male)
Welcome: (introduction of Guest)
Speaker: Chris Klicka (Keynote Speaker)
Conferring of Recognition Certificates: (CHEO will provide)

* MC introduces parents and students
* Parents and student meet at podium
* Parents will present diploma to student                 
* Student gives flower to parent

Closing Graduate Challenge
Benediction: (senior male)

Present Graduating Class of 2008
Recessional: (audience standing)
